Fastin – The New Diet Supplement

For the first time ever, a wonder diet drug is now available to the public without a prescription. You may have heard of the drug under another name when it was first on the market as a prescription diet pill. It has returned under the same name that it was before called Fastin. The original version of the Fastin weight loss pill was produced by drugmaker SmithKline Beecham, and was eventually taken off the shelf due to bad press surrounding another diet drug at the time called Fen-Phen. Fearing any reverberations from the claims made about the similar but non-prescription diet drug Fen-Phen, SmithKline decided to pull the product. The hysteria surrounding Fen-Phen was the real cause for the pull of Fastin from the market. Many studies showed at the time that Fastin was a very safe and effective pill if taken under a doctor’s supervision. The problem with Fen-Phen was an over the counter pill whose side effects weren’t studied long term. After the Fen-Phen debacle passed, SmithKline was bought out by another pharmaceutical manufacturer, Glaxo. The product became shelved never to return to the market until now.

Fastin weight loss pill used to be a branded version of phentermine hydrochloride. It was originally produced and manufactured by King Pharmaceuticals for SmithKline Beecham. Fastin diet pills worked by suppressing the individual’s appetite which would naturally help those who took it to lose weight. The use of the old version of Fastin required a prescription from a doctor before it could be taken. Recently, the right to distribute Fastin was purchased from Glaxo Smithkline by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. They researched the formula diligently and concluded that they could make it much more efficient by using phenylethylamine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. This also allowed them to market Fastin as an over the counter diet supplement, rather than a prescription diet pill. Unlike the older formula of Fastin, the new version works by stimulating the body’s metabolism rather than suppressing appetite. Those who are familiar with diet pills would agree that you can only suppress one’s appetite so long before it returns. By increasing the metabolism, Fastin works behind the scenes and much more effectively than other diet pills.

Like any dietary supplement, you should consult with your doctor if you have any condition that it may aggravate, or take any medications that a supplement may interact with. On the other hand, the Food and Drug Administration allows Fastin to be sold over the counter because the new formula has significantly less side effects than its previous manifestation. It is not necessary to take Fastin in concert with diet and proper exercise in order to lose weight. However, you will not reach your optimal metabolism without exercising and making some dietary changes. Many have testified to Fastin’s ability to boost metabolism and help them lose weight quickly. Thankfully, the drug is currently available to everyone with access to a drugstore or the internet. This is especially prescient when millions of a Americans are uninsured and do not want to be required to see a physician in order to get a pill that has been proven to be safe and effective in raising one’s metabolism. Hi-Tech, the manufacturer of Fastin projects significant growth over the next few years due to rising sales as word of mouth about Fastin spreads.
