Host your blog with me
I have a monster web hosting plan with unlimited add on domains feature. I dont really have much use for such a lot of space, and I am hosting only about 30 websites in there using only about 5 GB of space, and I would like to share the space with other bloggers who have their own domain names and legitimate blogs.
For a ONE TIME fee of $25, I can add your domain into my hosting, and install wordpress for you. Along with wordpress, I can give you about 500 Wordpress themes, and about 200 plugins, including a wordpress automatic update plugin and a One Click Install plugin which you can use to update wordpress when required and install new plugins and themes.
NO CONTROL PANEL, NO NOTHING. ITS PURE WORDPRESS AND YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU NEED WITH WORDPRESS. I can also allow forums, drupal or joomla, and other opensource stuff. I might not like to see any custom scripts running on the hosting. You will ofcourse be given an FTP account, and the password would lie with me. You can host anyting that is related to your blog, and you would not be doing any streaming or stuff that would consume too much of bandwidth. Only one database that would be required to run your blog will be provided. Every sub domain will cost you $5 one time, and thats for the database, you can install anything you need. Only one database per domain or subdomain would be allowed, since I dont want Hostgator to shutdown my account for Database overload or anything. Hope that is loud and clear. I dont give control panel since I have only 1, and I would be needing that.
So, the hosting is with Hostgator, and the servers are with the planet, and there will be absolutely no downtime, however, if you use more than 25 connections for the database at any given time regularly, your account might be suspended, since I dont want my blogs or the others’ going off. We can give you a few google apps mail boxes for your domain.
